Delete your account

You can permanently delete your SkillSpree account and the personal data tied to it — whether you still have the app installed or not. Deletion cannot be undone.

Fastest way: delete in the app

If you have SkillSpree installed, this is the quickest path:

1. Open the Profile tab
2. Tap Settings
3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account Forever
4. Confirm when prompted (you may need to re-authenticate or enter your password)

In-app deletion starts immediately. Your profile, progress, and account login are removed from our active systems right away.

No app installed?

Email us at support@SkillSpree.app with:

• Subject line: Delete My Account
• The email address tied to your SkillSpree account
• Your username, if you know it

We verify the request, delete the account and associated data, and email you when it’s done. Verified requests are processed within 7 days.

Active subscriptions must still be canceled through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting your SkillSpree account does not cancel store billing on its own.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove personal data including:

• Your profile — email, username, display name, and profile photo
• Skill progress, lesson completion, and streak data
• Activity feed posts and social likes tied to your account
• Friend connections and pending friend requests
• Your Firebase login and push notification token
• Your reserved username

What may be retained

Some data may be kept after deletion where required or permitted by law:

• Purchase and subscription records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat for billing, tax, and fraud prevention
• Aggregated or anonymized usage data that can no longer identify you, as described in our Privacy Policy
• Group chat messages or crew membership references that other members can still see until those groups are updated — if you need those removed too, say so in your deletion request
• Any information we must retain to comply with legal obligations
